Ashraf SI and Ip YT (1998) Transcriptional control: repression by local chromatin modification. Curr Biol 8(19):R683-6
Abstract: It is becoming increasingly clear that chromatin modification plays a fundamental part in transcriptional control. Recent studies provide new insights into how transcriptional repressors, in addition to blocking activators, may recruit repression complexes that include chromatin modification factors.
